is anyone else expierencing problems with their titanium weather just displaying an ex instead of icons and not having the temps..i was reading a thread at xda for the titanium weather and there were people having similar problems but no fix......

ok now i dont feel so bad..it was working earlier then all of a sudden it quit, i read some guys at ppc geeks r having the same problems, very wierd.....

I was wondering im using titanium weather cooked in already on rom wondering if a full install will fix just wondering..mine is doing that too notice since yesterday..thnxs in adv

should work no troubles for you and it may be under windows than insted of progream files.

It sure did work any body having trouble istall titanium weather cab of choice a couple out there.. and then do the fix from this thread and soft reset just to be on the safe side i did the long way couldnt find program....lmao but thnxs guys SPJ rules

so you found yours under hte windows folder like i was thinking is titanium is preinstalled on the rom?

a full install will not fix it..i posted what will fix it for the newer versions. Its not the program but the subscription thaat was up. they just fixed that file. No one redid the program with new file yet...so just replace it...use resco and search for it to find it....if its not where it should be.

p.s for newest version its a little tricky to get radar working ..... it can be done though i got mine working...you just gotta code the right url..

kaos, is there any hint to get the right url...i have tried so many url's and searched for 2 hours..my heads hurts and is about to pop off and roll down the street...after i put in a url from accuweather i get this message:

an error occurred on sub_main_nextimage_click.
An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found.

I like to find my own answers cause thats how I learn but I am completely at a loss...
Any help u could give would be greatly appreciated......

look two posts before kaos' post and you will see the original thread from XDA. Thats where I downloaded it from and it worked just fine for me

do you mean for weather in general or for radar? weather fix is posted it should work...if you have version 4.2 .. if not there is another post for older versions..if its the radar...pm me your city and state ill pm you back url to add to radar list.

i just didnt find the program under windows.had a hard time finding it but i just got bck home and will search again to do it the right way..

tried using url and substituting the 500 or 1000 for the 100 and it wont work, says its not in the value..dont know been trying several different things over the few days cause i didnt want to bother u but i cant seem to get it to work..im trying to get a state of michigan view also...thanks to anyone who can help...

kaos posted the working fix via rapidsahre already and fixes everything... you have to use total commander or resco file explorer to do so though.

I got the weather to download without a problem but i can't seem to get the url right for just the radar for saint paul ,mn

Only thing i found on site was city code look up

Try this copy everything under edit url type in everything shown will work and cover that St paul region hope this helps

Hey Kaos, I over righted your file in my Titanium weather folder- which is Mnemonique version I downloaded off of SPJ, but the program is not updating, the update time is stuck and everytime I do a full update or run weather update nothing changes, plus I still have the Red X's. Thanks for your help

i have had no troubles doing this on 5 different ppc models..... i use this cab..... if your titanium weather is built into the rom that you are using than you nee to overwrite this file using resco file explorer or total commander and overwrite when it asks..... and if it isnt built into the rom you will find it under program files/titanium weather...... heres the cab and let me know how it works for you but you shouldnt have any troubles period.

Hey Dash, I tried coppying your file over using total commander and through active sync but the program is still stuck. I even tried to remove the program but it won't delete.

ok you have titanium weather installed correct? was it included in the rom? if not you have to go to program files than titanium weather and than right there using regular file explorer you will have to past it into the root (not a folder but loose) than it will ask you to overwrite and choose yes.... if it was poreinstalled on the rom (the weather tab) than just drop the saem fille that i attacghed (unzippped) to the root of the windows folder.... once you do the above step that fits you just soft reset and your good to go.

No the rom does not come with weather, so searched on SPJ and downloaded Mnemonique one, and installed it and overwrited the orginal with your source file ( not the folder) to no luck. I even tried to reinstall the program but for some reason it can't uninstall the original program.

you are trying to overwrite the file in the program files/titanium weather folder arent you? and also are you using with the newest 4.3 version? other non version 4.XX will not work with this patch

Hey thanks Dash, Downloaded it and it seems to work, but I am not getting the actual weather - I tried entering my home zip and work zip code but still get a X, Do you know of a location code database? I will try other zip codes for the meantime to make sure that it works.

No Dice Dash, I tried 4 zip codes and it runs a full update but does not display the weather.

those are the files i use and they do work! did you install the 4.2 and than navigate to progream files/titanium weather, and than copy and paste the replacement file i attached asnd than soft reset and than go to update with full weather database and you will be good to go... this works on all phones including qvga device that i have tried it\ on.... if doen right it will owrk for everyone and hasnt been a person that does it right and hasnt got it to work.... you are using getting asked to overwrite the file when you try to paste it over there correct? and to reitterate you still arent in a zip folder or regular folder are you?

still gotta replace (mscr file) for it to work..use resco explorer or total commander to overwrite original file..under program files replace with this one..
